About you
You have five or more years of experience managing the implementation of enterprise-level software products in large organizations, using standard project management methodologies. You know how to coordinate teams that may include the client and third parties. You also understand the complexities (technical and people) of integrating new software and processes into an organization, and know how to work through issues to make the client successful.
You're organized, communicate well (written and orally), and work well in a team environment. You're also mobile, eligible and willing to work within Canada and the U.S.A., and be on the road approximately 50% of the time. Not in Vancouver? Your home base isn't that important, provided that you are comfortable working in a virtual office when not on the client site.
Ideally you are a PMP. Knowledge of ERP and/or EAM solutions would be useful, as understanding how asset-intensive companies plan and budget for investment. Bonus points if you are an engineer, accountant or MBA, have an understanding of the energy industry and/or electric utilities, or are familiar with the development and analysis of conservation/demand-side management programs.
