Judi Hess | Chief Executive Officer
Judi took on the role of CEO at CopperLeaf in August 2009. In 1995 she joined Burnaby-based Creo Inc. from MacDonald Dettwiler and Associates, beginning as a program manager and rising to become president in 2002, a position she held until Creo was acquired by Eastman Kodak for just under $1 Billion USD in 2005. As part of Eastman Kodak, Judi took on the role of general manager, workflow and prepress equipment; and vice-president of the graphic communications group. Two years later, her role was expanded to include management of a portfolio of software and start-up businesses and she was appointed a corporate officer and vice-president of Eastman Kodak and the head of Kodak Canada. She is currently a member of the Premier’s Technology Council of British Columbia and a member of the board of Bycast Inc. Originally from Toronto, Judi and her family live in Vancouver. She holds an honours bachelor’s degree in mathematics from the University of Waterloo, and is an avid downhill skier.
Lynn Casey | Chief Strategy Officer
Lynn founded CopperLeaf in 2000 to help organizations build world-class asset investment planning processes. Under her leadership, CopperLeaf released its landmark Asset Investment Planning (AIP) product, ESP. Before launching CopperLeaf, Lynn formed a consulting practice in 1993 to help firms achieve financial, commercial, and operational benefits through effective planning. She has also worked with a number of leading utility firms and research organizations worldwide. Trained and qualified as a Certified Management Accountant, Lynn began her career in the corporate finance group of a multi-national corporation where she led a finance team, ultimately transitioning into the mergers and acquisitions group. She has become a highly-regarded speaker in the area of AIP and continues to develop CopperLeaf’s thought-leadership by providing clients with specialty consulting services.
Daryl Spencer | Chief Operating Officer
Daryl is responsible for managing internal operations, including product development, product management, information technology, and building the CopperLeaf team as the company grows. His dozen years working with graphic arts giant Creo Inc. as it expanded from 300 to 4000 employees worldwide laid the foundation for an understanding of the drivers of positive corporate culture and effective change management. Daryl’s experience includes product development, product management, design engineering, and operations in roles such as Corporate Vice President and Corporate Director of Customer Service. His most recent experience prior to joining CopperLeaf involved uniting five disparate companies into a single integrated operation, rolling out Lean and Six Sigma principles, implementing business decision infrastructure for major projects, and developing common project management standards.
Felix (Ing Hoo) Wong | Vice President, Product Development
Felix is responsible for the technical vision and strategic development of CopperLeaf's products. With over 23 years in the technology industry, his experience includes managing engineering teams and application specialists for market leaders such as Creo Products and MDA Inc. in addition to international teams in the United States and Malaysia. As a Co-Founder and Vice President of Product Development at Cambian Services, Felix was an architectural pioneer for an internet-based multi-channel order management system, defining the system architecture and managing the development of the integration with distributed catalogs and back-office systems.
Stan Coleman | Chief Technology Officer
Stan came to CopperLeaf from Kodak, where he was general manager of the unified workflow software development team. He was one of the many talented engineers who led the growth of Burnaby-based Creo Inc. and stayed on with Kodak following its acquisition of the graphic arts technology company in 2005. At Creo, he worked as co-architect, then co-project engineer, and ultimately project manager for the Prinergy® prepress workflow management system. In 2003, Stan was named corporate vice-president, printing workflow solutions at Creo. Under his leadership (and new Kodak title of general manager), the group grew to deliver more than $150 million USD in annual revenues. In his early career, he spent ten years with MacDonald Dettwiler and Associates (MDA), working with and leading teams delivering maritime coastal defence systems, aeronautical information systems, and satellite data analysis systems. He holds an honours bachelor’s degree in applied science with a major in engineering physics from the University of British Columbia.
Phil Jones | Vice President, Sales
Phil joined CopperLeaf as VP, Sales in 2009. An electrical engineer and sales professional, he brings more than 15 years of experience in sales, business development, product management, project management, product development, and system design to the team. Phil’s client base to date has included government, military, commercial wireless infrastructure manufacturers, venture-funded factories in Asia, and a range of both commercial and residential clients for energy management and automation systems. Most recently, he has been a partner in a custom electronics design and integration firm, and a commercial lighting and control products company. Prior to that, he spent seven years at Burnaby’s Spectrum Signal Processing, ultimately attaining the role of Vice President, Sales. Phil earned his undergraduate and graduate degrees in electrical engineering from Georgia Tech, and has been recognized throughout his career as an innovative thinker who puts his clients first. He lives in Coquitlam, BC where he enjoys outdoor adventures with his family.
